Yay! Another New Toy!
Today, my best mate Mark got me a new toy: a TomTom One Australia. It was working straight out of the box! Whoa! It was such a joy to use. We didn’t even bother to read the manual. We plugged it in the car charger and breezed through the user-friendly instructions on the 3.5” touchscreen. The quick set-up includes choosing the voice for your gps. I ended up choosing Ken (English) from Australia. The TomTom One 3rd Generation came preloaded with a 2007 Australian map (powered by Whereis) which can be upgraded to a 2008 edition for free over the net in TomTom Home.
I better end here before this entry becomes a plug for TomTom One. In case you’re curious, you can read a review of the TomTom One here. In the meantime, I’ll rush home and play with my new toy. Yeah, and read the manual too. I am one of those who actually do! And next week when I drive to Sydney to spend the weekend with my future wife I would not be borrowing a gps since I already have my own. Woohoo! Daghang salamat, bai!
